Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, experience with high-value Middle East projects, and proficiency in CostX.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management.
• Experience on large-scale, high-value building projects in the Middle East.
• Experience with UAE developers on luxury hospitality/wellness developments.
• Must live in Al Jarf Ghantoot area or commutable to site; on-site work.
• Proficient with CostX or similar cost management software.
• Strong contractual and commercial principles understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead all post-contract cost management activities: cost reporting, valuations, variations, payment certifications, cash flow forecasting and final accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with client, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders, providing trusted commercial advice.
• Prepare and present accurate commercial reports to client and senior stakeholders to support informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and Omnium International standards.
• Oversee the preparation, administration and close-out of post-contract commercial documentation.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead the post-contract commercial management of a prestigious luxury wellness resort in Al Jarf Ghantoot located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Working closely with the client and wider project team you will take responsibility for cost reporting, valuations, variations, payment certifications, change control and final accounts ensuring robust commercial control throughout the construction phase. This is a site-based role so you will need to live nearby or within a commutable distance of the project.

Duties amp Responsibilities

Act as Omnium s primary point of contact for post-contract commercial matters on a prestigious luxury wellness resort in Al Jarf Ghantoot ensuring effective commercial management and successful project delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with the client consultants contractor and key stakeholders providing trusted commercial advice throughout the construction phase. Lead all post-contract cost management activities including cost reporting, valuations, variations, payment certifications, cash flow forecasting and final accounts. Provide commercially sound advice on contractual matters, variations, claims and change management ensuring commercial risks are identified, assessed and effectively managed. Monitor project costs and financial performance proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen cost control and support successful project outcomes. Prepare and present accurate insightful commercial reports to the client and senior stakeholders supporting informed decision-making. Attend and contribute to client consultant and project meetings providing clear confident and commercially focused guidance. Ensure compliance with contract requirements industry best practice and Omnium International s commercial standards. Work collaboratively with the wider project and commercial team to support the successful delivery of the development and achieve the client s objectives. Oversee the preparation administration and close-out of post-contract commercial documentation ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained throughout the project.

Key Skills amp Requirements

Minimum of 8 years professional experience in Quantity Surveying Cost Management. Demonstrable expertise in delivering comprehensive post-contract cost management services ideally within a consultancy environment. Proven track record of successfully managing the commercial aspects of large-scale complex and high-value building projects in the Middle East. Extensive experience working with leading UAE developers ideally on luxury hospitality resort wellness or other high-end developments. Must live in the Al Jarf Ghantoot area or within a commutable distance of the site with the ability to be based on site full-time. Strong experience across various forms of contract with a sound understanding of contractual and commercial principles. Demonstrable ability to thrive in client-facing roles with the professional presence and confidence to build strong relationships and provide trusted commercial advice to clients consultants contractors and other key stakeholders. Strong knowledge of CostX or another leading measurement and cost management software. Good understanding of the UAE construction supply chain including regional market conditions subcontractors and material suppliers. Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret evaluate and communicate complex cost data effectively. Excellent communication relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation problem-solving and teamwork skills. Ability to prepare clear concise and accurate commercial reports and communicate complex information in a straightforward and effective manner.

Qualifications amp Training

University degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or another RICS accredited discipline MRICS qualification preferred or working towards chartership.
