Job summary

Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory seeks a Cost Control Engineer to monitor, analyze, and report project costs across multiple initiatives, coordinating with Project, Commercial, Production, Finance, and Estimation teams to safeguard profitability.

The role focuses on cost control activities, preparing CTCS and cost reports, tracking budgets, and ensuring accurate cost allocation in SAP, with emphasis on CBS and variance analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in cost control, project accounting, commercial management, or project finance in oil & gas, marine, construction, fabrication or EPC.
Strong analytical, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Cost Controller in day-to-day cost control activities.
Monitor and analyze all project-related costs for assigned projects.
Prepare Cost to Complete (CTC) reports for WIP projects for monthly closing and profit recognition.
Interface with Project, Production, Commercial, and Finance teams to develop forecasts and analyze profitability.
Prepare project cost reports for invoicing, management review, and financial reporting.
