Job summary

Alaberah is establishing its first centralized Cost Control Department in Abu Dhabi. This role involves defining SOPs for project budgeting and resource allocation, implementing cost management software, and generating comprehensive cost reports for executive management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and 4 to 7+ years of applicable experience in the construction industry within the UAE. Strong proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7+ years of total experience in the construction industry.
• Minimum of 5 years directly in a Cost Control or Senior Quantity Surveying role within the UAE/GCC market.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Establish zero‑based budgets and baseline allowable costs.
• Validate baseline manpower, material, and equipment allocation plans.
• Implement strict gatekeeping to ensure no resource allocations without budget availability.
• Monitor daily manpower allocation for a workforce of 700.
• Track actual material consumption against allowable BOQ limits.
• Review subcontractor IPCs against actual site progress.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly cost reports for Executive Management.
