Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Specialist to lead the UAE CT function within the Finance team. The role focuses on optimizing the effective tax rate while ensuring full compliance with UAE CT rules and timely filings.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in accounting/finance (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred), plus 8+ years in in-house taxation, with strong ERP and Excel skills, and excellent stakeholder management. Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CA/ACCA).
• Tax accreditation is strongly preferred.
• Min. 8 years of management level experience in an in-house taxation role.
• Previous exposure to UAE tax system is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the corporate tax function for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with UAE CT rules and timely CT filings and reporting.
• Act as SME and primary contact for CT matters for staff and leadership.
• Develop and communicate local CT planning strategies and tax-efficient structures.
• Advise on CT implications of business transactions and optimize tax cost.
• Coordinate with IT for tax configuration in ERP systems and automation.
