The WSP is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Consultant-Sustainable Development & Healthy Living for our Middle East Earth and Environment advisory team. The applicant must have a strong background in consulting and driving sustainability initiatives for master planning/urban planning developments. The successful applicant will operate within a team of environmental and sustainability professionals in Bangalore/Noida/Mumbai, delivering high standards of technical work and supporting the team's success through client-focused project delivery.

As a Senior Consultant specializing in Sustainable Urban Development, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to sustainable development practices, urban planning principles, innovative environmental solutions, and sustainability initiatives. You will work closely with clients to develop and implement sustainable practices within their master plan development.

You will join a well-respected, large, and dynamic team serving a diverse range of clients across various sectors, including government, industrial, commercial, and scientific fields.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture/Urban Planning.
• 6-10 years of experience in sustainability-related consulting in urban planning/engineering design, including international projects.
• Experience with sustainability building and masterplan certifications (knowledge of rating systems such as LEED, Mostadam, Estidama, CEEQUAL, SITES, WELL preferred).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and urban planning software.
• A passion for sustainable development and a commitment to positive urban impact.
