Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi seeks a Consultant Physician to lead and supervise the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. The role provides leadership and training for junior medical staff and supports ongoing CME and clinical research to advance patient outcomes.

You will participate in performance management, quality improvement, and multi-disciplinary planning while ensuring optimal medical coverage and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Must have Tier 1 or Tier 2 level qualifications as described.
• Experience as a consultant or equivalent post-board certification.
• Current national license or equivalent and CME certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise delivery of evidence-based care.
• Provide leadership and training for junior medical staff.
• Participate in performance management and quality improvement.
• Ensure appropriate medical coverage within the Division.
• Lead clinical rounds and document patient care accurately.
• Collaborate with other specialties and support services.
