Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Consultant Physician to lead and supervise the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care across the department. This role requires clinical excellence, strong leadership, and a commitment to training junior medical staff and advancing CME.

You will participate in performance management, peer review, recruitment of medical staff, and multi-disciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

• Tier 1: minimum 2 years of relevant consultant experience.
• Tier 2: minimum 8 years in consultant role at an internationally accredited institute.
• Must hold current national license and yearly CME proof.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise delivery of evidence-based care.
• Diagnose and treat patients per best practice standards.
• Provide leadership and training for junior medical staff.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and audits.
• Ensure on-call coverage as required.
