About the Role

BDO UAE is seeking a passionate Senior Consultant to join our dynamic Sustainability & ESG team in Dubai. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading ESG engagement components such as materiality assessments, strategy development, and reporting, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulations.
• Advising clients on ESG frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and Integrated Reporting, aiding them in navigating disclosure requirements.
• Conducting climate risk assessments and assisting clients in identifying ESG risks and opportunities to develop resilient strategies.
• Performing sustainability assurance procedures in accordance with ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410, including planning, execution, and review of non-financial disclosures.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and providing feedback to support their development and ensure quality.
• Contributing to business development through proposals, presentations, and client meetings to expand the ESG advisory portfolio.
• Ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of client engagements, maintaining project documentation, and proactively managing risks and expectations.

Qualifications & Key Attributes

• 3-4 years of experience in Sustainability & ESG
• Strong project management and client communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams
• Deep understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (sustainability, engineering, business, environmental studies)
• ESG/Sustainability certification required
• Experience in ESG reporting, climate risk analysis, or sustainability strategy
