Job summary

Pioneer International Projects Management (Pioneer IPMC) in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee construction supervision activity, ensuring quality, safety, progress and cost objectives are met. The role requires managing project documentation and coordinating with contractors.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 20 years' experience in construction, including 12 years in supervision, with familiarity of ADNOC procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction.
• At least 12 years in project supervision.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, safety standards and project documentation management.
• Experience reviewing contractor submissions, assessing variations and monitoring progress.
• Excellent communication, leadership and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PMC site inspection teams and ensure adherence to project quality requirements.
• Monitor all site activities and maintain quality records.
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance with contract requirements and shop drawings.
• Oversee contractor storage, handling and preservation per manufacturer recommendations.
• Review contractors' submissions, CVs, equipment, manpower histograms, sub-contractors and orders.
• Ensure compliance with design changes, safety plans, QA/QC procedures and project schedules.
• Advise on variations, claims, progress slippages and corrective actions.
• Participate in meetings, inspections, punch lists, commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate NCRs and non-conformities reporting.
