Job summary

Pioneer IPMC, Abu Dhabi, invites a Senior Civil Inspector to oversee quality, compliance and progress of civil construction works on the project. You will supervise site activities, verify contractor submissions, and coordinate with project management and QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to contract requirements and industry standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 12–15 years of relevant experience, strong report writing, and leadership skills to mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 12–15 years of experience in civil construction inspection and supervision on large-scale projects.
• Proven QA/QC, inspection, and site supervision expertise for concrete, structural, finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and specifications; excellent report writing and coordination.
• Ability to lead inspection teams and provide technical guidance across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of civil works ensuring compliance with drawings and plans.
• Review contractor submissions including shop drawings and testing reports.
• Monitor site activities for workmanship, materials and construction practices.
• Oversee testing of construction materials per approved quality procedures.
• Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up corrective actions.
• Collaborate with planning to track progress and mitigate delays.
• Review as-built drawings and closeout reports for compliance.
• Mentor junior inspection staff and promote quality awareness.
