Full Description

1. Focal point for all construction foremen within the construction team.
2. Works directly for the Construction Superintendent with the execution of operational and engineering-led projects.
3. Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all employees and contractors working under their control, as well as the continued integrity and efficiency of plant equipment. Ensure all work is carried out in conformance with the integrated plan, safety standards, and relevant maintenance procedures.
4. Control all construction personnel and vendors, ensuring compliance with project timeframes, resourcing commitments, and quality delivery of work scopes.

Responsibilities

1. Support and satisfy the policies, goals, efforts, and programs of Dubai Petroleum HSE Management System.
2. Ensure HSE issues are given primary consideration in all activities undertaken within the area of responsibility.
3. Ensure a full assessment of the inherent risks associated with all onshore construction activities is conducted, and necessary measures are taken to eliminate or mitigate such risks prior to implementation phases.
4. Ensure the quality of work through adherence to standards, procedures, and sound technical practices.

Experience

• 10+ years' experience in oil and gas field construction or operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory position.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
