Job summary

Hill International in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved scope, schedule, quality, safety and contractual requirements. You will oversee contractor performance, methodologies, testing and commissioning, stakeholder coordination and project handover.

The role requires a qualified engineer with 15+ years in project management, including at least 5 years on Retail and mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer; BSc or higher.
• Construction Manager with 15+ years in Project Management.
• Experience on similar scale Retail and mixed-use schemes (min 5 years).
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities ensuring delivery per scope, schedule, quality and safety.
• Ensure PMC staff comply with project procedures and drawings.
• Review contractor proposed site organization and key personnel CVs.
• Monitor contractor equipment and manpower to address shortages.
• Oversee sub-contractors, vendors and shop drawings with proper reporting.
• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning plans with PMC and consultants.
• Prepare and coordinate close-out activities, as-built drawings and warranties.
• Ensure alignment with Hill International quality, safety and environmental policies.
