Job summary

Hill International (Middle East) Ltd. seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee infrastructure works in Abu Dhabi, ensuring projects meet contract specifications, schedule and safety standards.

You will monitor the performance of supervision consultants and contractors, manage submittals and RFIs, coordinate inspections, and liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance and smooth project delivery. A civil engineering degree and 20+ years of infrastructure experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Civil Engineering.
• 20+ years in Infrastructure construction with Abu Dhabi authorities.
• Experience with subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Proven Construction Manager on large MEP infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in MEP projects and full life cycle Project Management.
• Managing inspections, mockups, samples, and quality benchmarking.
• Progressive verification of works to specs and drawings.
• Experience with submittals and RFI review.
• Review contractor reports and progress.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure works throughout construction.
• Monitor performance of supervision consultant and contractor.
• Verify progress reports for infrastructure activities.
• Monitor the technical submittal and approval process.
• Identify improvements in sequencing and progress for all parties.
• Monitor inspection process and improvements.
• Monitor QHSE performance and address deviations.
• Coordinate with local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
