The project:

An exciting opportunity to be a part of our Project Management Consultancy team to deliver a Commercial project with infrastructure and landscape packages.

Client focus - Deliver on our promise:

  • You will work as part of the senior construction delivery team, taking direction from construction lead and project senior leadership team, providing guidance to wider team.
  • You will build relationships to manage and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
  • Responsible for the delivery of large, multiple construction packages to agreed safety standards, quality, programme and budget.
  • Makes operational decisions on sequencing methodology whilst responsible for working with the delivery team to develop detailed and accurate short/mid/long term plans for successful delivery.
  • Promotes and drives the businesses priorities through construction to production, digital & data and responsible business.
  • Understands and formulates short-term plans to deliver to programme, able to communicate with and coordinate trade/sub-contractors.
  • Owns safety, wellbeing and quality deliverables for specific sections of the project.
  • Contributes to establishing and maintaining health, safety and wellbeing culture onsite.
  • Supports managers in leading focussed forecast lookahead meetings, providing authority and guidance where required.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with client and design CMT, knowing QA process to final sign-off.
  • Provides comprehensive technical expertise and understanding of Mace onsite standards for each part of the project, where to find them, and responsible for implementation.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement and plans, identifies key business improvements.
  • Develops and maintain a series of both internal and external relationships.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

  • Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
  • Detailed knowledge of construction methodology, process and inherent safety involved.
  • Detailed knowledge of digital platforms and how to implement onsite.
  • Detailed knowledge of Mace standards, where to find them, and how to implement them.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple large packages of work.
  • Planning and budget management experience.

You’ll also have:

  • Completed apprenticeship (or equivalent).
  • Relevant NVQ or HNC (Or equivalent).
  • Experience in a site based managerial role (or equivalent).
  • SMSTS and managerial/professional CSCS card.
