Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Construction Engineer as part of our Construction team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be full time onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To facilitate and formulate Construction Supervision, management, coordination, administration and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract in line with Client's objective of progressing Work Order completion timely and to project schedule
  • Supervision of the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handing over of FEED/EPC works
  • Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, procedures and construction/installation requirements identified in the EPC Packages developed by FEED contractor to ensure efficient constructability
  • Ensure the construction/installation plan, procedures and requirement developed by EPC contractor comply with the EPC Scope of Work intent and requirements.
  • Assist to manage fabrication works at EPC contractor's or EPC contractor's subcontractor's fabrication facilities
  • Supervise, monitor and inspect the work EPC contractor and EPC contractor's subcontractors at the construction location (or place of manufacture where applicable) in accordance with ADNOC onshore policy for supervision, quality assurance, control and inspection for the project.
  • Maintain EPC contractor's adherence to safety, quality and schedule requirements for construction.
  • Inform ADNOC onshore of Construction slippage and recommend corrective action(s) to be performed by EPC contractor

Expected:
  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
