Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a seasoned Cost Control Manager to establish and oversee the project cost framework across major UAE contracts. The role demands deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and KPI development to enable profitable project delivery and strategic growth.

You will lead a team, drive cost efficiency, and coordinate with finance, planning, and procurement functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Project Management) is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as RICS, CMA, PMP, CCP are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost control strategy and team across projects.
• Develop company-wide cost control systems and best practices.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, forecasts, and risks.
• Review cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for accuracy.
• Lead monthly/quarterly cost review meetings with project teams.
• Provide strategic insights on financial performance and risks.
• Maintain WIP, earned value metrics (CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC).
• Evaluate variations, changes, and claims from a cost view.
• Collaborate with procurement, QS, and planners on cost proposals.
• Implement ERP cost management software and templates.
• Deliver high-level cost summaries and dashboards to leadership.
• Mentor cost engineers and junior staff.
• Ensure audits and compliance with UAE regulations.
