Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to lead cost control on major construction projects in the UAE. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting, ensuring alignment with contract values and tender estimates.

The role requires extensive ERP experience and the ability to implement robust cost-control processes. The successful candidate will have 12–15 years in cost control within contracting or construction, with strong analytical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related field.
• CCP, PMP or RICS certifications are advantageous.
• 12–15 years of cost control experience in contracting or construction.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and financial analysis background.
• Hands-on with ERP systems and cost control software such as Primavera, SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning, budgeting, and building baseline cost plans (CBS).
• Review tender estimates and align budgets with contract values.
• Develop cost control procedures, templates and reporting formats.
• Track expenditures, commitments and cost-to-complete values.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow projections.
• Support change management, claims and EOT justifications.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, QS, and finance teams.
• Maintain accuracy of cost data across ERP systems.
