Job summary

ADIB Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer to assist in executing compliance monitoring reviews and planning fieldwork per the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan. Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of scoping, designing, developing and conducting risk reviews.
• Understanding CB UAE rules and regulations.
• Bilingual English and Arabic is an advantage.
• Proven ability to build constructive relationships with peers and seniors.
• Excellent written, verbal and analytical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing compliance monitoring reviews as assigned by line manager and CMAT Head.
• Provide timely feedback on findings to stakeholders during reviews.
• Ensure that compliance breaches are identified, escalated and logged in the GRC system.
• Agree realistic and timely action plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Adhere to the Compliance Monitoring SOP, including PRC documents and work papers.
• Maintain all relevant records on the department's shared drive.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the Line Manager/Head of CMAT.

Description

Role: Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
The Senior Compliance Monitoring Officer assists in the execution of compliance monitoring reviews of the First Line of Defense to provide assurance on the effectiveness of compliance controls. The Senior Officer Compliance Monitoring assists in the planning scoping fieldwork and reporting for assigned compliance reviews as per the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.

Key Accountabilities of the role

Assist in performing compliance monitoring reviews as assigned by the line manager/Head of CMAT and to support the Senior Compliance Assurance Managers

• Provide timely feedback on findings to stakeholders during the process of performing compliance reviews.


• Ensuring that compliance breaches are identified escalated and logged in GRC system.


• Agreeing realistic and timed action plans mitigate the risks identified during compliance monitoring reviews.


• Adhering with the Compliance Monitoring SOP including completion of the Process Risks and Controls (PRC) document and Work Papers.


• Maintaining all relevant records on the departments shared drive


• Any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Line Manager/ Head of CMAT.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role

• Knowledge and experience of scoping designing developing and conducting risk reviews


• Knowledge CB UAE rules and regulations.


• Bilingual English and Arabic Speaker is an advantage


• BA/BSc or higher degree in business (MBA) finance or any other related subject


• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with peers and seniors
