Job summary

j. awan & partners is expanding its Governance, Risk and Compliance practice in the UAE and beyond. The Senior Manager – Compliance will lead regulatory compliance and AML/CTF obligations across client mandates, ensuring alignment with evolving regulations and industry standards.

You will act as a regulatory liaison, drive framework development, and mentor the team while contributing to client growth and the JAP brand across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years overall industry experience, with at least 4 years in compliance.
• Experience dealing with regulatory authorities in the region.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or Accountancy.
• CAMS, CISI or ICA qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance and AML programs across client mandates.
• Act as regulatory liaison with authorities and regulators.
• Develop and implement compliance frameworks and training.
• Manage audits and monitoring across jurisdictions.
• Support business development and brand representation of JAP.
• Mentor junior team members and foster culture.
