We are searching for a diligent and professional Director of Corporate Governance to join our dynamic UAE office.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the focal point, responsible for all our company’s compliance obligations, ensuring all our business operations fully comply with our regulatory requirements.

In this position, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including evaluating current and new compliance regulations, taking ownership of the outsourcing program, and managing all reporting obligations.

The successful candidate will have a full understanding of the domestic regulatory landscape relevant for financial services companies and a good knowledge of the corporate law of the AGDM.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

  • Integrate and oversee all operational functions, Compliance, AML, and Risk, ensuring alignment and seamless coordination across these areas.
  • Manage all aspects of compliance within the UAE office.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory compliance laws and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our business operations and procedures comply with legal regulations and internal policies.
  • Plan and oversee all compliance policies and procedures.
  • Define, implement, and take ownership of the company’s outsourcing policies in line with our regulatory obligations for both existing and new vendors.
  • Perform initial in-depth analysis for all existing and new outsourcing services and perform ongoing monitoring in accordance with regulatory changes.
  • Advise the company on regulatory compliance matters and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s business and provide regular reports to senior management and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct, as needed, on-site audits of material outsourcing services providers.
  • Develop and conduct compliance training for employees.
