About the role:

The Communications & Content Specialist is a crucial role at Liquidity for an exceptional wordsmith with media relations expertise and understanding of the financial services sector. Your extraordinary writing talent is the cornerstone of this position - you have a knack for translating complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences across various platforms.

Based in our Abu Dhabi office and collaborating across Liquidity's global teams, you'll shape our written communications while providing strategic media relations guidance to amplify our narrative in the marketplace and position our executives as thought leaders in the industry. Your understanding of how media operates across diverse markets will be essential in crafting region-specific approaches that maximize our global impact.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit high-quality content across multiple formats, including thought leadership pieces, blog posts, website copy, newsletters, and press releases
  • Craft compelling marketing copy for various channels, including email campaigns, landing pages, and digital platforms
  • Create engaging narratives around our key offerings, translating complex financial topics into accessible content
  • Develop thought leadership pieces, whitepapers, and bylined articles
  • Oversee PR agency relationships, providing direction and evaluating deliverables against objectives
  • Evaluate media opportunities and make recommendations to senior executives
  • Create press kits, Q&A documents, and talking points for media interactions
  • Develop content for executive leadership and C-suite audiences
  • Monitor industry trends and current affairs to identify relevant content opportunities
  • Ensure all written materials align with brand voice while maintaining professional tone
  • Coordinate communications across different time zones and global markets
  • Review and edit content to ensure it is clear, accurate, and free of errors
  • Optimize content for search engines and implement SEO best practices

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of content writing and media relations experience, preferably in financial services, fintech or investment sectors
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing ability across multiple formats
  • Experience managing PR agencies and evaluating strategic media opportunities
  • Expert-level English language proficiency with impeccable grammar, punctuation, and editing skills
  • Strong command of storytelling techniques that can transform technical information into compelling narratives
  • Understanding of financial services industry and ability to write about financial topics
  • Experience creating press materials and preparing executives for media interactions
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets, current affairs, and industry developments - a must
  • Strong research skills and ability to quickly grasp and communicate new concepts
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and formats
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
  • Experience working across global time zones with diverse markets an advantage
  • Knowledge of SEO copywriting and content optimization techniques - an advantage
  • Specific knowledge of US and European media markets and press relations - a distinct advantage
