Job summary

S. K. Overseas HR Consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior commissioning engineer to lead cross‑functional teams in pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities. You will ensure safety, quality and on‑time delivery of complex industrial projects in the Gulf region.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 10+ years in commissioning with at least 3 years in leadership, and a proven track record in power, petrochemical or pharmaceutical sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or relevant discipline).
• PE license or equivalent international certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commissioning, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven track record in commissioning complex industrial facilities (e.g., power generation, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commissioning plans ensuring all systems meet design intent and operation requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of commissioning engineers and technicians.
• Oversee creation and approval of commissioning documentation including procedures, checklists, and reports.
• Manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities ensuring safety and efficiency.
