Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in the UAE seeks a seasoned Commissioning Lead with electrical/mechanical background and extensive field experience. You will manage teams, plan and execute testing, coordinate with OEMs and subcontractors, and prepare method statements and SAT reports in line with IEC/IEEE standards.

Responsibilities include onsite commissioning inspections, safety and ethics oversight, and close collaboration with clients to clarify scope and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of experience.
• Experience in testing and commissioning with emphasis on safety and ethics.
• Ability to take responsibility and proactively resolve issues.
• Experience conducting site commissioning inspections and safety checks.
• Willingness to coordinate across departments and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in project planning, execution, resources allocation, troubleshooting and customer interaction.
• Prepare commissioning plans for Cold/Hot commissioning and close-out.
• Coordinate commissioning with OEM and subcontractors.
• Prepare method statements and SAT reports per IEC/IEEE standards.
• Clarify and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning.
• Attend technical meetings with customers to define scope.
• Review and coordinate with other departments for testing progress.
• Coordinate with subordinates to progress testing activities.
• Clarify client inquiries with manufacturer support.
• Prepare project-wise manpower plan.
• Coordinate during client inspections.
