Position Objective:
The Senior Manager, Commercial Reporting and Performance Management is a critical role responsible for leading the commercial performance management function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of commercial department performance, and driving business decisions through data-driven insights. This role will be a key member of the commercial leadership team, providing strategic support to Vice President – Group Commercial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial analytics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of commercial performance metrics, dashboards, and scorecards to measure the department performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive commercial reporting packages to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and other analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with company process and procedures pertaining to the business operations.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business needs.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion. Ensure all communications and activities are managed securely and in line with company policies.
- Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance summaries for management review.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of commercial initiatives and strategies.
- Work closely with various business units such as bidding & proposal, commercial planning, Contracts & Procurement to ensure alignment and accuracy in reporting data.
- Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Develop presentations for executive meetings and strategy sessions.
- Identify opportunities for improving reporting processes and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and reporting technologies to enhance the effectiveness of reporting efforts.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Commercial Performance Management, Data Analysis and Reporting, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Experience within the Aerospace, Defense or Military industries.
