About the role

As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will support the Head of Commercial in driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives and overseeing the execution of key projects. You should be able to identify opportunities, manage relationships, and drive performance in line with organizational goals. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in managing a part of the commercial team, ensuring smooth operations, and aligning with the company’s vision for market expansion and revenue growth.

Day-to-Day responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head of Commercial Business Development in shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy
  • Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing new business opportunities to maximize revenue and market share
  • Assisting in developing partnership models, and expansion plans for new initiatives
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders.
  • Assisting in negotiating and closing high-value deals, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Monitoring team performance through KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement actionable solutions
  • Preparing detailed reports on pipeline activity, market trends, and business development performance for Head of Commercial
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of business strategies and adjust plans based on data-driven insights
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business initiatives
  • Driving yearly top-line and revenue growth
  • Maintaining a healthy P&L, ensuring business targets are met without compromising profitability

Key qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of supporting revenue growth and and delivering strategic initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of business development strategies, market analysis, and client relationship management
  • Financial acumen to evaluate business opportunities and forecast revenue
