Job summary

ART NETWORK in the UAE is seeking a Senior Collateral Optimization Specialist to optimize collateral, monitor margin requirements, and reduce funding costs across treasury operations. The role is fully remote and requires deep knowledge of collateral management, derivatives margining, and liquidity risk.

You will collaborate with treasury, trading, risk, and technology teams to implement optimization strategies, automate workflows, and ensure compliance with ISDA CSAs and GMRA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
• Typically 5+ years in collateral management or treasury operations.
• Strong knowledge of collateral optimization and margin calculations.
• Experience with derivatives collateralization, repo, or securities lending.
• Familiarity with ISDA docs, CSAs, GMRA.
• Excel proficiency; SQL/Python/VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement collateral optimization strategies to improve utilization across portfolios and counterparties.
• Monitor collateral balances, margin requirements, eligible assets, and collateral availability.
• Analyze collateral positions to identify opportunities for substitution and reallocation.
• Manage collateral requirements associated with derivatives, repos, and securities lending.
• Review initial/variation margin, independent amounts, and other collateral obligations.
• Coordinate collateral calls, settlements, substitutions, recalls, and disputes.
• Evaluate impact of collateral decisions on liquidity and funding costs.
• Support collateral allocation using optimization tools and risk parameters.
• Monitor movements and settlement deadlines to reduce failed deliveries.
• Review eligibility criteria, haircut levels, and risk factors.
• Work with treasury, trading, market risk, credit risk, operations, and tech teams.
• Analyze collateral requirements under bilateral and central clearing arrangements.
• Support compliance with ISDA CSAs and GMRA contracts.
• Investigate margin discrepancies and settlement breaks.
• Develop reports and dashboards on utilization, liquidity, and optimization opportunities.
• Support stress testing and scenario analysis related to collateral and margin volatility.
• Maintain accurate collateral records for audit and regulatory purposes.
• Identify opportunities to automate collateral workflows and improve data quality.
• Provide technical guidance to juniors and contribute to policy development.
