Job summary

Bureau Veritas India in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Coating Inspector with extensive oil and gas experience to lead field inspections and coating assessments.

The candidate must hold a Mechanical qualification, BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2, 15 years in the oil and gas sector with 5 years in pipe coating and field joint inspection, plus 3LPP and concrete coating expertise and EPC contractor coordination; strong English report writing required.

Job description

Senior Coating Inspector

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical shall be qualified in accordance with BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 certification requirements.
• Minimum 15 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with minimum of 5 years in Pipe coating, and field joint inspection.
• 3LPP and concrete coating experience
• Proven experience with EPC Contractors
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports.
• Computer literate and familiarity with codes ASME, ISO and BS.
