Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Coating Inspector to lead coating and painting inspections for offshore and onshore projects. The role requires hands-on field work, adherence to industry codes, and reporting on coating quality in complex environments.

You should hold a Mechanical diploma with BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2, and 15 years in Oil & Gas, including 5 years in pipe coating and field joint inspection.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical with BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 certification requirements.
• Minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas with at least 5 years in pipe coating and field joint inspection.
• 3LPP and concrete coating experience.
• Proven experience with EPC Contractors.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, including technical report writing.
• Computer literate and familiar with codes ASME, ISO and BS.

Senior Coating Inspector:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical shall be qualified in accordance with BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 certification requirements.
