Job summary

S K Overseas HR Consultancy seeks an experienced Painting Inspector for oil & gas projects in the Middle East. You will conduct daily inspections, coordinate with client representatives, and ensure QA/QC for pipelines, piping, and structures.

The role requires ITP adherence, MAR preparation, and coating testing in line with project standards. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in painting inspection, ADNOC exposure, and NACE/BGAS L-2 certification; willing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of painting inspection experience on oil & gas projects in the Middle East.
• Experience with ADNOC Group or other oil/gas clients is preferred.
• Certified painting inspection qualification (NACE/BGAS L-2).
• Exposure to field joint coating in pipelines (HSS/HB-HT/wrapping).
• Willing to reside in site project accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily painting inspections and coordinate with client during site visits.
• Establish ITP with respect to project standards and specs.
• Finalize Painting Procedure Specifications and conduct PQT coating tests.
• Prepare MAR for painting materials; review visual coating inspections per ITP.
• Coordinate final inspection of coating and holiday testing.
• Inspect factory-applied coating 3LPP 2LFBE and oversee QA/QC activities.
• Ensure QC clearance of painted spools.

Job description

Role amp responsibilities

• Conduct daily Painting inspections and coordinate with Client representative during site visit
• Establish Inspection and Test plan ITP with respect to project Standards and Specifications
• Finalize Painting Procedure Specifications and Conduct PQT Coating Applicator Test and witness Coating related testing of specimens
• Responsible for preparation of Material Approval Request MAR for Painting materials
• Check visual inspection of coating as per project standards specifications and Inspection test plan ITP
• Coordinate for final inspection of coating and holiday testing
• Carry out inspection for factory applied coating 3-layer polypropylene coating 3LPP 2LFBE
• Supervision of QA QC activities related to Painting for Pipelines Piping and Structures
• Responsible for QC clearance of painted spools

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+year experience in Painting Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East.
• Previous approval in ADNOC Group or other Oil/Gas Client.
• Certified Painting inspection qualification (NACE/ BGAS L-2).
• Exposure to field joint coating in Pipelines (HSS/HB-HT/ Wrapping Methods)
• Willing to reside in site project accommodation.
