Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and operate CNC 3/5 Axis machines, Ply cut Machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
2. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
3. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
4. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
5. Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
6. Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts.
7. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
8. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
9. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Education & Experience:

1. This position requires the candidate to have 10 years of experience in the production field, specifically in CNC operating, running, and supervising technicians.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and program codes to ensure specifications are met.
3. Proven experience as a CNC operator who can operate 3-Axis, 5-Axis CNC Machines.
4. Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize production quality and efficiency.
5. Inspect finished products using precise measurement tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
6. Follow safety protocols and maintain clean and organized workspaces to minimize risk and maximize productivity.
7. Troubleshoot machine performance and identify and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
8. Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production status, issues, and recommendations.
9. Maintain machine logs and records to track production output and identify trends or areas for improvement.
10. Continuously update and improve technical knowledge and skills related to CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
11. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
12. Competent and good understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
13. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
14. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
15. Good communication abilities.
16. High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
17. Certification in LEAN, 3P and 5S are desirable.
