Job summary

Austin Werner is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for a hybrid, full-time role in Dubai's financial services sector to own cloud security across AWS, CI/CD, and detection.

You will work under the CISO, driving security controls, incident response, and automation with engineering teams and managed detection partners.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on security engineering with ownership of production security controls.
• Strong AWS security expertise and cloud architecture review experience.
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and reviewing application and infrastructure changes.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise EDR and cloud workload protection platforms.

Full-time, permanent | Hybrid

We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for a financial services business operating a cloud-native technology environment.

Reporting directly to the CISO, you’ll take ownership of key security capabilities across cloud architecture, DevSecOps, detection and response. This is a hands‑on role with substantial autonomy and the opportunity to influence the wider security programme.

The role

• Lead security architecture reviews and threat modelling for new systems and infrastructure changes.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines, including code, secrets, infrastructure as code and container scanning.
