Job summary

QuantumGate is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will deploy, manage, and monitor containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes, implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation, and collaborate across teams to enhance security and performance.

Ideal candidates have strong scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby), hands-on IaC and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and a proven DevOps background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies with Git.
• Implement configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Monitor system health and performance with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployments and optimize performance.
• Implement security best practices including access control, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Ensure disaster recovery readiness and high availability.
• Document infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational practices.
