Job summary

alkalma Wellbeing Centers in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, secure, and troubleshoot the organisation’s multi‑cloud infrastructure across all sites. You will manage firewalls, switching, enterprise Wi‑Fi, NAC, IP telephony, and cloud security, while coordinating with the SOC on monitoring and incidents.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience spanning network infrastructure, network security, and cloud security.
• Hands‑on experience with HPE, Fortinet, and Cisco, including switching and enterprise Wi‑Fi.
• Practical experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting NAC solutions.
• Strong Azure security expertise and practical experience securing additional cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of IP telephony, VoIP, SIP, and voice‑network troubleshooting.
• Experience with SOC coordination, incident response, vulnerability management, and security audit support.

Responsibilities

• Manage HPE Aruba, Fortinet, and Cisco Meraki infrastructure, including switching, enterprise Wi‑Fi, and FortiGate firewalls.
• Maintain routing, VLANs, network segmentation, VPNs, SD‑WAN, and high availability; troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
• Implement and troubleshoot Aruba ClearPass NAC, including 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, and access enforcement.
• Support IP telephony, VoIP, and centralised call centre infrastructure, including SIP trunks and QoS.
• Secure workloads across Azure, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Tencent Cloud with network protection and WAFs.
• Administer identity controls (Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, PAM such as Wallix).
• Support Defender and Intune security controls and their NAC integration.
• Coordinate with SOC on monitoring, incident response, and remediation; review service effectiveness.
• Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and remediation tracking.
• Assist Windows/Linux hardening and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP, NTP, PKI, TLS).
• Monitor availability, capacity, firmware updates, backups, and change management with rollback plans.
• Support backup security, failover testing, and disaster recovery planning.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, or IAC tools.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, asset inventories, and vendor escalations.
