Job summary
Iconic IT in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks an experienced Cloud FinOps Analyst to lead cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP. The role requires 5+ years IT experience and 3+ years in cloud financial management, with immediate to 30 days availability for onsite work.
You will partner with finance, cloud architects, DevOps and software teams to implement FinOps practices, governance, budgeting, and cost reporting across multi-cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in IT, with 3+ years in cloud financial management, cost optimization, or FinOps.
- Deep experience with multi-cloud cost management across AWS, Azure, OCI and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with SaaS and API-based pricing models (Copilot, SMS, email services, bots, virtual desktops).
- Knowledge of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, security, compliance, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud financial management and FinOps practices across multi-cloud environments.
- Analyze cloud spend, cost attribution, and chargeback/showback models.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to enforce cost governance and tagging.
- Implement budgeting guardrails, anomaly detection, and cost-saving recommendations.
- Evaluate RI, savings plans, and rightsizing opportunities to maximize ROI.
- Present monthly cloud spend analyses and forecasts to finance and leadership.
- Maintain FinOps runbooks and cost-governance dashboards.
