Job summary

Focus Infotech in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to drive enterprise cloud transformation across Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will design, implement, automate, and optimize secure hybrid cloud environments to enable scalable business services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of overall IT infrastructure and systems experience.
5-7 years of hands-on experience implementing Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python.
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, and Microsoft Exchange environments.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and identity management.
Experience with Docker containerization technologies.
Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud deployments.
Strong understanding of enterprise security controls and cloud governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
Plan and execute cloud migration projects from on-premises data centers to cloud platforms.
Implement hybrid cloud architectures integrating enterprise infrastructure with cloud services.
Configure and manage cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
Build and optimize cloud automation workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Deploy and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes using Azure DevOps.
Implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR), replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, availability, and scalability.
Ensure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and operational standards.
Perform capacity planning and cost optimization across cloud environments.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and cloud platform issues.
Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
