Job summary

Good co India is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP in the United Arab Emirates. You will drive IaC adoption, container orchestration, CI/CD and cloud security across enterprise workloads.

Candidates should have deep hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools, plus strong Linux scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Bicep, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent Linux administration and scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, VPC/VNet, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers, SSL/TLS, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and cloud storage services.

• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, reliability, and cost through monitoring and capacity planning.
• Perform incident management, RCA, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and infra teams to support cloud-native deployments.
• Maintain technical docs, cloud architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud tech and propose improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
