Job summary

Scorewarrior, a game developer and publisher, is seeking a Senior Client C++ Developer for the Core Team. You will design and implement core game systems, APIs, and reusable modules, with a focus on simplicity, scalability, and quality.

Expect to work on architecture and engine-level tasks across in-game mechanics and server synchronization for large mobile titles. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of development experience, 4+ years in C++ client-side work, and proficiency with 2D/3D engines

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial development experience.
• 4+ years in C++ client-side development.

Responsibilities

• Create and support core modules and move code to core areas through auditing and refactoring.
• Redesign and refactor universal mechanisms for in-game offers, promotions, buffs and effects.
• Refine Hot Reload system for configuring and updating in different environments.
• Design an 'instances' system with separate locations/scenes and rules.
• Accelerate integration of new mechanics by migrating repetitive code to reusable core components.
• Create clear API documentation and guides for developers.
• Maintain high quality core code through decomposition and refactoring.
