Job summary

Q One Inc. is seeking a creative and technically skilled Game Developer | Game Systems Designer to design, develop, and refine engaging gameplay systems and interactive experiences.

This role blends game programming with systems design, translating concepts into polished features. You will collaborate with designers, artists, QA, and producers to build core systems such as movement, combat, progression, inventories, and quests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, game development, software engineering, interactive media, or related field.
  • Proven professional experience in game development, gameplay programming, or systems design.
  • Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, game loops, player progression, and systems design principles.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, C#, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, or equivalents.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
  • Experience developing gameplay systems from concept through testing.
  • Knowledge of player progression, game economies, rewards, balancing, and resource-management systems.
  • Strong understanding of game physics, input systems, animation systems, UI integration, and gameplay logic.
  • Experience with debugging, profiling, optimization, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities
