Job description

A widely respected Lloyd's Broker have an exciting new opportunity based in Dubai.The Senior Claims Advocate will play a dynamic role in providing technical expertise and claims advocacy services to clients. In this role, the Senior Claims Advocate will be working alongside their partners, Producers, Account Executive and Brokers; to manage claims relationship with major clients and to act as an ambassador for their claims offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide-ranging portfolio of complex claims for clients through the full claims lifecycle which will predominantly relate to Energy class of business including Renewables, Power, Upstream and Downstream Energy claims, although a knowledge of other classes of business such as Property, Engineering and Liability would be advantageous.

You will build and manage relationships with clients to explain the claims process and manage their expectations throughout. You will also work with each client prior to any claims arising to educate them on how to be prepared for a claim should one arise, including the information and documentation required, the claims process and anticipated timescales for each step of the process. This position requires a deep understanding of the claims process, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex claims effectively. The role is pivotal in ensuring that clients receive prompt and fair resolution of their claims, while also maintaining strong relationships with (re)insurance companies and other stakeholders.
