Job summary

Meraki Integrated Contracting is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team and drive quality through design, coordination and construction phases. The role focuses on reviewing submittals, ensuring compliance, and delivering projects on schedule.

Strong focus on technical leadership, stakeholder coordination, and value engineering to enhance constructability and reduce durations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years total experience in Commercial / Residential / Mixed-use Buildings
• 8+ years UAE experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; MSc Structural Engineering is a plus
• Experience leading multiple projects from design through handover
• Knowledge of UAE authorities (Dubai Municipality, DDA, DCD, RTA) and regulations

Responsibilities

• Review and provide technical comments on PQD / Submittals / Design calculations / Method statements and other engineering submittals
• Review Architectural, Structural and MEP coordination drawings including Rebar Shop Drawings and BBS
• Manage Engineering submission logs and ensure compliance with approved programme
• Prepare and review Technical Packages / Technical Compliance Documents for procurement
• Coordinate with Consultants, Project Managers, Construction Teams, QA/QC, MEP and Subcontractors
• Provide technical support during tender evaluation and subcontractor/vendor selection
• Offer Value Engineering and innovative technical solutions to reduce costs and duration
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor technical compliance and resolve issues
• Ensure activities align with drawings, specs, contracts and UAE regulations
• Lead and manage Technical Team and communications with stakeholders
