Anton is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead civil and structural engineering for Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. You will perform analyses, develop calculations, review drawings, and ensure compliance with TOTAL GS and American codes using STAAD.Pro and MAT3D.

The role requires a strong background in major EPC/EPCC projects, 12+ years in oil & gas structural design, and ability to coordinate interfaces with multi-disciplinary teams on schedule-driven deliverables.

Qualifications

Job description

The Senior Civil / Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing and supporting civil and structural engineering design activities for the Projects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform civil and structural analysis and design activities for Oil & Gas facilities. Develop and review structural design calculations, engineering analyses and associated technical documentation. Carry out structural modelling, analysis and design using STAAD. Pro and MAT3D. Apply relevant American design codes and standards, including AISC and ACI, in engineering design activities. Ensure designs comply with applicable TOTAL GS (General Specification) requirements. Review civil/structural engineering drawings, calculations and design deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance. Provide technical input and engineering solutions for structural design issues arising during project execution. Coordinate civil/structural engineering interfaces with other engineering disciplines. Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and technical coordination activities. Identify design discrepancies, technical risks and potential engineering issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Support technical queries, design clarifications and engineering changes relating to civil and structural works. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project requirements, schedules and applicable standards. Maintain appropriate engineering documentation and design records. Support the engineering/project team as required throughout the assignment.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience. Extensive structural design experience specifically within the Oil & Gas industry. Demonstrable experience working on major Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCC or similar engineering projects is highly desirable. Strong experience in civil and structural engineering design and analysis.
