Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) for an Oil & Gas EPC project in the UAE. The role focuses on true cost positioning, cost leakage, and data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.

You will forecast costs, analyze quantities, measure earned value, and drive recovery initiatives across major civil/structural scopes, interfacing with planning and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or Project Controls.
• Significant experience on major Oil & Gas EPC construction projects.
• Proven involvement in recovering or improving underperforming projects through commercial control and productivity enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an integrated cost control framework: budgets, actual costs, accruals, ETC, EAC, cash flow interfaces.
• Develop WBS/CBS structures aligned with schedules, quantities, manpower, and procurement.
• Measure earned vs actual man-hours and track productivity across civil work.
• Support Project Recovery Plans with data-driven commercial recommendations.
• Forecast manpower and cost-to-complete, produce variance reports weekly and monthly.
