Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and at least 10 years UAE construction experience.
• Proven expertise in structural engineering, construction planning, and project execution.
• Experience managing residential or commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural activities across residential and commercial construction projects.
• Develop practical execution plans and organize work according to project milestones.
• Review structural drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and method statements.
• Ensure construction activities follow approved designs and applicable UAE codes.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site work sequences.
• Identify engineering conflicts and implement technically sound solutions. The engineer will monitor daily site progress and take corrective action when schedules, resources, quality, or coordination issues place delivery targets at risk.
• Conduct inspections and verify workmanship before consultant review.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical and electrical teams, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Enforce health and safety requirements throughout assigned work areas.
• Review material submissions and confirm compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain inspection records, progress reports, technical correspondence, and supporting documentation.
• Reduce rework, material waste, and avoidable construction delays.
• Lead coordination meetings and communicate priorities clearly to site teams.
• Support snag resolution, completion documentation, and final project handover.
