Job description

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 1315 years of proven experience to join our highperforming engineering team. The ideal candidate will provide expertlevel design and technical leadership for civil and structural works across a largescale onshore oil and gas development. This role demands deep technical knowledge in infrastructure and foundations for process and utility facilities along with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and construction support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the preparation and review of civil and structural design deliverables including site development grading road layouts foundations trenches and concrete/steel structures.
• Develop and validate detailed engineering calculations drawings and specifications aligned with project scope and international standards.
• Ensure seamless interdisciplinary coordination across mechanical piping electrical and instrumentation teams to maintain integrated project delivery.
• Review and approve civil/structural drawings BOQs material takeoffs and construction work packages.
• Oversee geotechnical assessments topographic surveys and civil design for both greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Participate in constructability reviews HSE risk assessments and design optimization workshops.
• Interface with clients thirdparty consultants vendors and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Provide technical expertise during procurement construction and commissioning stages of the project.
• Mentor junior civil engineers and review their deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university; Masters degree is an advantage.
• 1315 years of progressive experience in civil and structural design engineering specifically within the onshore oil and gas industry.
• Strong track record in designing infrastructure for oil and gas facilities including equipment foundations pipe racks roads stormwater systems and buildings.
• Proficiency in key engineering software such as SAP2000 ETABS AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
• Solid understanding of international design codes and standards (ACI AISC BS ASTM API).
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and incorporate soil and foundation recommendations into design.
• Strong leadership organizational and communication skills; experience working in a multicultural multidisciplinary team environment.
• Previous experience with major EPC contractors or oil and gas operators in the Middle East is required.
• Experience designing desert or arid climates including stormwater drainage and erosion control.
• Familiarity with modular construction or prefabrication techniques is considered a plus.
