Job summary

aasa Group in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Civil Construction Manager to lead wet utility projects, including sewerage, drainage and water pipelines. You will supervise site teams and ensure works follow drawings, specs and safety rules.

The role demands 12-15 years of civil construction experience, with at least 5+ years in substations, and UAE/GCC exposure. You will prepare plans, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and drive quality and progress on site.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of civil construction experience.
• 5+ years of substations experience mandatory.
• UAE / GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise civil construction activities for wet utility projects including sewerage, drainage, and water pipeline works.
• Manage excavation, trenching, pipe laying, manholes, chambers, backfilling, and reinstatement activities.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and authority requirements.
• Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly construction plans to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Manage site engineers, foremen, and workforce to achieve productivity and project targets.
• Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, equipment utilization, and material consumption.
• Ensure quality control, inspections, testing, and approvals are completed as per project requirements.
• Review construction methodologies, shop drawings, and resolve technical issues at site.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, safety procedures, and site regulations.
• Prepare site reports and provide regular updates to the project management team.
