Senior Citrix System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Citrix System Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Citrix environments and Nutanix infrastructure, with proven technical expertise and relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
2. Administer and maintain Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).
3. Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix and Nutanix-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and cloud integration projects.
5. Monitor systems and proactively recommend improvements and best practices.
6. Ensure security, compliance, and proper documentation of infrastructure components.
7. Vendor Management.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 8+ years of experience in Citrix administration and engineering roles.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Citrix CVAD, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.
3. In-depth knowledge of Nutanix AHV and Prism management.
4. Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
2. A Master’s degree or additional coursework in IT infrastructure or cloud computing is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred/Required):

1. Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) or Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V).
2. Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP).
