Job summary

Global Software Solutions Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a leading UAE bank. The role focuses on building secure CI/CD pipelines, deploying with GitOps, and ensuring high availability using HelmCharts and ArgoCD. Strong scripting, logging, and collaboration skills are essential.

You will work with Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ, Jira/Confluence, and a modern DevOps stack to deliver reliable and scalable solutions in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Strong real time experience on Linux and DevOps tooling.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and GitOps principles.
• Experience with Groovy scripting and logging stacks (ELK/Splunk).
• Expert problem-solving capability and strong collaboration skills.
• Experience with HelmCharts and ArgoCD for deployment.
• Capacity planning, resource management and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security (Image Signing, Image Scanning).
• Develop and optimize GitHub Actions and implement GitOps principles for seamless deployment.
• Manage and deploy applications using HelmCharts and ArgoCD for high availability.
• Write Groovy scripts and manage logging with ELK or Splunk stacks.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions for stability and performance.
• Collaborate with teams for capacity planning, resource management, and vendor management.
