Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chemical Process Engineer.
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
- Knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles.
- Experience with process optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to develop or improve processes.
- Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Analyze data from experiments to optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot process issues and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and production personnel.
- Monitor production processes to identify improvements.
- Provide technical support during start-up, shutdowns and emergencies.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects or changes.
- Develop operating procedures for new processes.
- Participate in HAZOP studies and provide risk-reduction recommendations.
