Job summary

PPOAR in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Chemical Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize chemical processes in our production facility. The role requires collaboration with engineers and technicians to ensure safe operations and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, 3+ years' experience, and proficiency with Aspen Plus or HYSYS. English communication is essential, Arabic a plus. This full-time position is based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• At least 3 years of experience in chemical engineering in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with process design software (Aspen Plus or HYSYS) and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement chemical processes for new products or modifications.
• Conduct experiments and data analysis to optimize processes for cost and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process issues and propose productivity improvements.

Chemical Process Engineer

We are a leading chemical company based in Abu Dhabi, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemical Process Engineer to join our team. This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability.

As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes in our plant. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing chemical processes for new products or modifications to existing products
• Conducting experiments and analyzing data to optimize processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshooting process issues and proposing solutions to improve productivity
• Collaborating with other teams, such as R&D and Quality Control, to ensure product quality meets standards
• Maintaining accurate records of process data, including equipment maintenance logs
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chemical Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of process design software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
