Job summary

Avanta Works in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize chemical processes across our production team. The role focuses on improving efficiency and reliability while collaborating with engineers and technicians to streamline operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with Aspen Plus or HYSYS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement chemical processes for production purposes.
• Conduct tests and experiments to analyze data and optimize processes.
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to identify areas for process improvement.
• Develop strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare reports on process performance and present findings to management.
